There are two goals in creating groups of users: - to control access to pages for groups
- to send messages to groups

Group management is useful the way it is resolved in Kheper : - there is an unlimited hierarchy of groups and subgroups
- inheritance : a user in a group is a member of the parent group
- multi-membership : a user may belong to multiple groups

| For each group, the extranet administrator can set up what pages can be accessible. | |
